While there is just one shark in The Reef: Stalked, we see a lot of shark footage that is masterfully blended into the film. The basic shark horror movie narrative always revolves around one shark. From Jaws to any number of shark horror films, Even “Moby Dick” (about a whale) focuses on a single major antagonist.
It works pretty well, and the inclusion of genuine shark video makes for a much more visceral experience. Yes, CGI is used, and it isn’t very good. To be fair, shark CGI is seldom that good, and The Reef: Stalked is probably better than a lot of other shark horror movies I’ve seen. In other words, shark aficionados will witness a lot more actual sharks rather than computer-generated sharks. Watch more Look movie ag films and series onlines.
