It’s the classic children’s movie with some jokes, cute scenes and witty characters. And screenwriter Jim Hecht , who previously worked on the franchise along with Ray DeLaurentis and Will Schifrin.seem to succeed in bringing the characters back with the same tone as before, even if effectively the story and plot involved is as basic as possible. I imagine that The Ice Age: The Adventures of Buck was planned, with the text thinking and focused for a smaller audience, even smaller than the Ice Age movies back in the early 2000s, and however much more personally I wasn’t satisfied with several parts I understand that for children it should work.
After all, the film puts the characters of Crash and Eddie on a mission to find a new home with the help of Buck Wild and their partnership Zee (voice of Justina Machado in the original). But not everything will be rosy for this group of talking and hyperactive animals. The big-headed dinosaur Orson and his army of raptors are there to disrupt our protagonists’ plans.
